The Lake District is located in the southwest part of Northern Ireland; the entire lake district is bout 120Km from Belfast and about 160 Km from Dublin. You can get to both places by the waterway and by air.

The County Fermanagh is known for the Lake District; it can be used as the perfect vacation or for the holidays. You can hire a charter to take you where you want to go. The lakes are the longest navigational waterway in Europe. You can also take a trip on the lakes with your own boat. You can see the Charming Islands located on the Lower Lough Erne and the Upper Lough Erne. Lough is the Irish word for lake.

You can go fishing on the lakes; in fact fishing is one of the most popular activities on the lake. There are also many restaurants and eateries in case you did not catch anything. The district offers more than just the lakes, they have the Belleek Pottery, and it is Ireland’s oldest Pottery places, they have a museum of art and they have a gift shop.
